Payments & Pricing (x402 by Coinbase)

SLAMai uses x402 — the internet-native payment protocol developed by Coinbase — to handle payments directly over HTTP.
This enables instant USDC payments, AI/M2M-friendly access, and true pay-per-use pricing across Base and Ethereum.

ALL SLAMai endpoints are accessible via x402, ensuring a unified and seamless payment experience across both REST and MCP integrations.

When a client or MCP tool requests a paid resource, SLAMai returns an HTTP 402 Payment Required challenge that includes the price and payment details. Once the payment is completed in USDC on Base, the request is retried and the resource is delivered instantly with finality.
